RDJ Scholarship at University College Cork 2025

Introduction: 

The RDJ Scholarship is offered by RDJ in partnership with the UCC School of Law to support students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing law-related studies at University College Cork (UCC). The scholarship promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession by providing financial support and professional work experience.

Eligibility criteria for the RDJ Scholarship at University College Cork:

• The applicants must belong to one of the following priority groups: students from ethnic minorities and migrants or refugees lawfully present in Ireland.
• The applicants must be registered in a BCL or LLB program at the UCC School of Law or be undergraduate students at Cork University Business School who have completed at least one law module.
• Must have achieved or expect to achieve at least a Second Class Honours Grade 2 (2H2) average in the previous year's modules.
• The scholarship is open to ethnic minorities, lawfully present migrants/refugees, and DARE-eligible students with disabilities 

Application Process:

• The student has to complete and submit the RDJ Scholarship form.

Value of the Scholarship:

• An EUR 5,000 plus a six-week summer work placement at RDJ’s Cork office is provided as an award to support a student at University College Cork (UCC).
