Professor John G. Ranlett Memorial Scholarship

The Professor John G. Ranlett Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students majoring in economics.

Eligibility criteria for Professor John G. Ranlett Memorial Scholarship -

• The applicants must be Undergraduate -Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
• They must demonstrate financial need.
• The must be doing majors in Economics.
• They ust have minimum GPA: 3.3 CSUS Overall GPA, plus a GPA of 3.5 or better in upper-division Economic Courses.
• They must be full-time at the time of application and at the time of the award.
• The student must have completed at least 15 units at Sacramento State, with nine upper-division units in Economics.

Required documentation:
*Attach an unofficial copy of your Sacramento State Transcript.
*At least one letter of recommendation from a professor in any discipline, an Economics Professor, a high school teacher, or someone who attests to your academic ability.
*A statement, not exceeding one single-spaced page, indicating your interest in your major and your plans for the future.
