The Patrick and Teresa Walsh Memorial Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) who have demonstrated community service, student leadership, and academic proficiency, with a specific residency requirement for the Peace River-Liard Region.

Eligibility Criteria for the Patrick and Teresa Walsh Memorial Scholarship at University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time students enrolled at UNBC.
• Applicants must have completed at least 60 credit hours toward a program with a declared major.
• Applicants must be residents of the Peace River-Liard Region by birth or by uninterrupted residence of at least four years before beginning their current studies at UNBC.
• Applicants must demonstrate community service.
• Applicants must demonstrate student leadership.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency.
