Music Scholarships at Transylvania University 2026

Transylvania University offers multiple scholarship programs under the Fine Arts Scholarship Program. One of the scholarships provided under the Fine Arts Scholarship Program is the Music Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria of the Music Scholarship:

• The applicant must be an incoming first-year student.
• The applicant must have been admitted to the university for the 2026-2027 academic year.
• The applicant, if chosen for another award, can avail of only any one of the scholarships.
• Applicants pursuing non-majors, majors, and minors are eligible.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must submit an online application.
• The candidates must prepare for the interview too.
• The candidates can apply for the scholarship in the following quotas:
  • Instrumental Music - Students are required to audition with 4 to 7 minutes of music, preferably on two pieces of contrasting style.
  • Choral / Vocal Music - Students are required to audition on two pieces of contrasting style.
  • Music Technology - Students must submit a portfolio of works they have created.

Value of the Scholarship:

The scholarship value ranges from USD 3,000 to USD 5,000 annually.
