The Morrison History Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia was established to recognize the service of Dr. William R. Morrison, founding Dean of Research and Graduate Studies and a member of the History Department. The scholarship supports an outstanding History student who demonstrates academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria for the Morrison History Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be enrolled in the History Program.
• Applicants must be a fourth-year History major to be considered for the undergraduate scholarship.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.
• Applicants must be an outstanding graduate student if no suitable undergraduate candidate is identified.

Application Process for the Morrison History Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must submit an online application.
• Applicants must apply through the Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants do not need to submit additional documentation.
• The History Department selects the top fourth-year History major based on academic excellence.
• If no suitable undergraduate candidate is identified, the scholarship may be awarded to an outstanding graduate student.
• Recipient selection is made by the Program Chair/Committee.
