Eligibility Criteria for Kothari Family FIRST Alumni Entrance Scholarship:
- Applicants must be entering Year One of a full-time undergraduate program in the Faculty of Engineering (excluding the School of Architecture).
- Applicants must have a minimum 90% admission average.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance.
- Applicants must have actively participated in a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics team in their final year of high school.
- Applicants should highlight their FIRST involvement in the AIF.
- At least one recipient will be a student who identifies as a woman in an underrepresented engineering discipline.
Value of Kothari Family FIRST Alumni Entrance Scholarship:
Two scholarships are awarded annually, each valued at $12,500.
Application Process:
No separate application is required; eligible students are automatically considered based on academic performance, Admission Information Form (AIF), online video interview, and demonstrated FIRST Robotics participation.
