The Indigenous Student Athlete Award at the University of Northern British Columbia supports Indigenous varsity athletes in pursuing their education while continuing their athletic careers.

Eligibility Criteria for the Indigenous Student Athlete Award at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students.
• Applicants must be current members of a UNBC varsity athletics team.
• Applicants must identify as Indigenous.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain satisfactory academic standing.

Application Process for the Indigenous Student Athlete Award at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• No application is required.
• The recipient is selected by the UNBC Athletics Department.
