Hector Macaskill Memorial Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington 2026

History and purpose:

This scholarship was established by the Trustees of the National Library. This scholarship is to assist master's or PhD students undertaking a research degree in Information Studies at Victoria University of Wellington, and intend to pursue a research topic in the field of library service or literature for children and young people.

Eligibility for Hector Macaskill Memorial Scholarship:

• The candidates applying for the Hector Macaskill Memorial Scholarship should be enrolled as master's or Ph.D. students at the Victoria University of Wellington.
• The applicants should be undertaking research in Information Studies.

Selection Criteria:

Applicants must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll in a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Information Studies at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington.

Value: $1,000 (subject to grant availability)
