Gan Family Scholarship at Monash University, 2025

Gan Family Scholarship in Honor of Dr. King Gan:

 This Scholarship is established to support Indigenous Australian students pursuing coursework degrees in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria for Gan Family Scholarship:

1.  The applicant must be an Australian citizen, must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate, or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute.
2. The applicant must be a commencing or current student, enrolled in or intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
3. The applicant must have achieved an ATAR of 75 or above (if a commencing Indigenous student) or have a WAM of 70 or above.

Application Process: 

1. VTAC applicants: If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the VTAC equity schemes (SEAS) to be automatically considered.
2. Current Monash students: Apply directly to Monash.

Award: AUD 8000 per annum (48 credit points of study).

Selection criteria: Awarded based on need.

Note:

1. This scholarship cannot be deferred.
2. You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.
