The First Unitarian Church of Victoria Fund for Indigenous Students in Trades or Health & Human Services is an award that recognizes and honors Indigenous students who have overcome significant challenges and are working toward achieving their educational and career goals. The award supports students at Camosun College and considers financial need during the selection process.

Eligibility criteria for the First Unitarian Church of Victoria Fund for Indigenous Students in Trades or Health & Human Services:

• Applicants must be currently registered students at Camosun College.
• Applicants must have Indigenous ancestry, including First Nations, Metis, Inuit, or Native American ancestry.
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent.
• Financial need will be considered.

Application Process for the First Unitarian Church of Victoria Fund for Indigenous Students in Trades or Health & Human Services:

• Applicants must complete the Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen (IECC) awards application form. 
• Applicants must submit a self-written letter explaining how they have changed their life for the better and how they will use education to continue moving forward.
• Applicants must submit a reference letter from a community member or instructor confirming their life changes and commitment to education.
• Recipients must be willing to attend an awards ceremony.
