This scholarship, which recognizes distinction in science, information technology, and engineering, aims to encourage students who can positively impact the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by funding scholars based on excellence and equity. Students pursuing degrees in IT, science, and engineering will be the main audience for the awards. Students with proof of hardship or disadvantage—including, but not limited to, financial difficulty, non-English-speaking background, regional disadvantage, and disability—will be given preference.
Eligibility for Faculty of Science and Engineering Sustainability Scholarship at the University of Macquarie University:
- Applicants must be commencing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering in Session 1 2025.
- Applicants must have the intention to study full-time and internally (i.e., on campus).
- Applicants must have a demonstrated record of high academic achievement.
- Applicants can demonstrate the potential to make a positive impact in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
