Equity Diversity Inclusion Scholarship at Mohawk College:

The Equity Diversity Inclusion Scholarship supports Mohawk College students who have experienced systemic barriers and encourages reflection on how these barriers have affected their lives. The selection of recipients is made in collaboration with the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.

Eligibility requirements for the Equity Diversity Inclusion Scholarship at Mohawk College:

• The applicants must have a minimum 60% GPA based on the most recently completed academic term.
• The scholarship is open to students in any faculty, school, program, and year of study.
• The student selection is made in collaboration with the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.
• The applicants must submit a required 1–2 page essay describing a personal experience involving systemic barriers.

Application Process:

• This is a general award the students can apply for through the Mohawk College Scholarships and Bursaries Application.
• Applicants must prepare and submit a 1–2 page essay about their personal experience with systemic barriers.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A CAD 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student at Mohawk University.
