Corus Radio Billy Powers Memorial Scholarship

Introduction:

The Corus Radio Billy Powers Memorial Scholarship helps to support full-time students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Communication – Journalism and Digital Media program at the university and who demonstrate academic achievement. 

Eligibility criteria of the Corus Radio Billy Powers Memorial Scholarship: 

• The applicant must be a full-time student at the university. 
• The applicant must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Communication – Journalism and Digital Media program at the university.
• The applicant must have completed COMM 2707 (News Reporting I) or COMM 2709 (News Reporting II).

Application process for the Corus Radio Billy Powers Memorial Scholarship: 

• The applicant will be selected based on their academic achievement. 
• Preference will be given to Indigenous students or students with disabilities.
• The applicant must apply through the Mount Royal University Awards application form before the application deadline.
