Canadian Federation of University Women Victoria Centennial Award

The Canadian Federation of University Women Victoria Centennial Award is supported by the Canadian Federation of University Women - Victoria, and it supports First Nations women in the Indigenous Business Leadership program.

Eligibility criteria for the Canadian Federation of University Women Victoria Centennial Award:

• Applicants must be female.
• Applicants must be currently registered as a student at the college.
• Applicants must have Indigenous ancestry, including First Nations, Metis, Inuit, or Native American ancestry.
• Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or equivalent.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the Indigenous Business Leadership program.
• Priority is given to single mothers or grandmothers. If no eligible parent is identified, the award may be given to a non-parenting woman.
• Financial need is strongly considered.

Application Process for the Canadian Federation of University Women Victoria Centennial Award:

• Applicants must submit a self-written letter outlining their career goals.
• Applicants must provide a letter of reference from a former instructor, employer, or community member addressing their commitment to education.
• Applicants must submit the Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen (IECC) awards application form.
• Recipients are expected to attend an awards ceremony.
