BHF-IFR Program for the Balkans 2023

IFR-BHF Balkan Program Scholarship, 2022 offers two scholarships to aid deserving students attending any of the nine IFR-BHF joint field schools.

Eligibility

• The applicants of IFR-BHF Balkan Program Scholarship, 2022 can be of any nationality.
• The candidate applying should have been admitted to one of the five IFR-BHF field schools including Apolonia Pontica, Ilindentsi, Pistiros, Tell Yunatsite, Bresto, Conservation and Stobi.
• The age of the applicant should be 18 years or older.
• The candidate should have a minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Applicant must also be a current student or should have graduated in the past five years from any institution of higher education.
• It is not considered mandatory to have major in archaeology or related subjects, students from any subject area can apply.

Documents required

• The applicants of IFR-BHF Balkan Program Scholarship, 2022 are asked to register and complete the online application.
• The unofficial copies of transcripts of the previous study should be submitted.
• Letter of recommendation should be submitted along with the name and contact details of the referee.
• The candidate should also submit a two-page report, which will be further supervised by BHF staff.
