B.E.A.R. Bursary at Mohawk College:

The B.E.A.R. Bursary provides financial assistance to first-year Mohawk College students enrolled in selected health, social services, nursing, and community-focused programs. Preference is given to single-parent students returning to post-secondary education.

Eligibility requirements for the B.E.A.R. Bursary at Mohawk College:

• The applicants must be first-year students.
• The preference is given, but not limited, to single-parent students returning to further their post-secondary education.
• The applicants must demonstrate financial need according to OSAP eligibility guidelines.
• The applicants must have been an Ontario resident for 12 consecutive months prior to the start of the program.

Application Process:

• This is a general award; students can apply through the Mohawk College Scholarships and Bursaries Application.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A CAD 1,750 is awarded to support a full-time student.
