University of Amsterdam-Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship in Netherlands, 2019

Eligibility for University of Amsterdam-Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship in Netherlands, 2019:

• The scholarships are open to Non-EU nationals.
• Applicants who have graduated in the top 10% of their class may are considered for the scholarship.
• Applicants are required to excellent academic track record.
• Must be willing to take part in extracurricular activities.
• Candidates ambition and the relevance of the selected Master’s program to their future career is considered.

 Number of awards (s):

• The University of Amsterdam will award up to 15 of these Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships (AES) annually.

Selection criteria:

• Letter of recommendation by a dean, teacher or academic supervisor.
• Quality of the letter of motivation (maximum 500 words) in which the applicant describes the reasons for choosing the specific Master’s programme.
• Description of extracurricular activities such as participation in student commissions, sports or music at a high level or volunteer work.
• Proof of English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL): TOEFL (internet-based) – overall score of 100, IELTS (academic) – overall score of 7.0.

Value ofUniversity of Amsterdam-Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship in Netherlands 2019:

• The successful applicants of the University of Amsterdam-Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship in Netherlands, 2019 will receive €25,000 covering tuition and living expenses.
