The prize recognizes the student submitting the best project work for a 480 research project in Physics or Astronomy as part of BSc (Hons) 400-level Honours courses in the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences at the University of Canterbury.

Eligibility criteria for the Alister George McLellan Prize:

Applicants must:

Be an Honours student enrolled in a BSc (Hons) 400-level course in Physics or Astronomy.
Submit the best project work for a 480 research project in their program.

Value of Alister George McLellan Prize:

Successful applicants will get a prize of $800.
