Applicants must:

Be an undergraduate student
Be enrolled in the Faculty of Arts
Be majoring in English (ENGL)
Be in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study
Be registered full-time (a full course load is not required)
Demonstrate academic merit
Demonstrate financial need
Be a continuing student at the University of Calgary.

Value of A Footprint in the Sand Bursary:

Up to $1,750 is awarded to selected students. Two awards are available annually.
