The Max Planck Institutes, in cooperation with leading universities, are setting up International Max Planck Research Schools (IMPRS) to strengthen their efforts in attracting and training junior scientists. These research schools are centers of scientific and educational excellence and are an integrated part of the Max Planck Institutes and their partner universities. They offer especially gifted students from Germany and abroad the opportunity to earn a doctorate within a structured program that provides excellent conditions for education and research.

The IMPRS for Computer Science (IMPRS-CS) is highly research-oriented. Here you have the unique opportunity to learn from, and work closely with, world-renowned researchers in their respective fields of specialization.
