Commercial Pilot License

Getting a commercial Pilot License is a dream for many students, that enables them to start a career as a commercial pilot. CPL  is awarded to students by DGCA for completing 200 hours of flying. The candidates wishing to obtain a CPL must join an institute that offers a CPL course that is about 8 to 10 months long. Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics Limited, a DGCA-approved flying school started operating in the year 1994. AAA operates from its hangers in the Sardar Vallabhai Patel airport and Mehsana airfield with 4 single-engine aircraft and one single/multiengine flight simulator.

Duration: The duration at the Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics Limited is between 18 to 24 months.

Fees: The fee at the AAA for CPL is 24,40,000.

6. Indian Aviation Academy

Indian aviation Academy was established in the year 1986, as the Institute of Airport management. It was transformed into the Indian Aviation Academy from the National Institute of Aviation Management and Research in the year 2010. It is a joint training Academy of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).

Duration: You will need up to 18 months at CAA to get CPL.
