The Stoneygate Scholarship aims to support academically able students, who may have faced barriers to attending university, to obtain an excellent degree outcome in their program. Ultimately, these scholarships aim to ease financial pressures so that students can balance study and external pressures, allowing them to achieve their full potential.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be a new UK student starting a full-time undergraduate degree in September 2025.
  • Applicants must be charged the full tuition fees.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in and attend an eligible course when the payments are made.
  • Applicants must have achieved marks of ABB at A-level (or equivalent).

  • Applications for 2025 are now closed.

Benefits:

  • Three eligible students will get £3,000 per academic year with an additional £1,000 per academic year drawn from existing DMU funds.
