SMU School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) Achievements / Aspirations Scholarship 2026

Introduction:

At the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS), we take pride in training computing professionals to create value for business and society, through innovative IT solutioning. We welcome qualified applicants to apply for our new SCIS Achievements / Aspirations Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for the SMU-School of Information Systems Scholarship:

• Full-time SMU first-year undergraduate student enrolling in the School of Computing and Information Systems
• Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident
• Good academic results
• Good record of co-curricular activity and/or community service involvement
• Good character record

Application Process:

Your application for the scholarship is to be made at the same time as your application for admission to SMU.

Benefits:

• Achievements Scholarship value of S$10,000 per annum and Aspirations Scholarship of value S$5,000 per annum both for 4 years will offset against the tuition fees
• Opportunity to be included in the SCIS ACE programme, with growth opportunities provided by the School of Computing and Information Systems

NOTE:

Non-Singaporean scholars are required to apply for the tuition grant provided by the Singapore Government. Under the tuition grant scheme, scholars will be required to work in Singapore-registered companies for a minimum period of three years upon graduation.
