Eligibility Criteria for Teacher Scholar Doctoral Fellowship at University of Saskatchewan 2026:
Applicants must:
- Be PhD students in the 2nd to 5th year of their program
- Be registered and fully qualified in their doctoral program
- Have a GPA of 80% or higher
- Have completed their PhD candidacy assessment by August 31 of the application year
- Not be beyond the 5th year of their PhD at the start of the fellowship
- Be able to undertake a mentored teaching (sessional lecturer) appointment in Term 2 (January–April)
- Be available to attend mandatory GPS 982 biweekly meetings
- Not have teaching duties that conflict with program requirements
- Be teaching a course within their subject expertise
- Have departmental approval
