Eligibility Criteria for Teacher Scholar Doctoral Fellowship at University of Saskatchewan 2026:

Applicants must:

Be PhD students in the 2nd to 5th year of their program
Be registered and fully qualified in their doctoral program
Have a GPA of 80% or higher
Have completed their PhD candidacy assessment by August 31 of the application year
Not be beyond the 5th year of their PhD at the start of the fellowship
Be able to undertake a mentored teaching (sessional lecturer) appointment in Term 2 (January–April)
Be available to attend mandatory GPS 982 biweekly meetings
Not have teaching duties that conflict with program requirements
Be teaching a course within their subject expertise
Have departmental approval
