STS Fellows Program at Harvard Kennedy School | Harvard University

Harvard Kennedy School is offering the STS Fellows Program as a non-stipendiary pre- and postdoctoral fellowship program for the academic year 2024-2025. Pre-doctoral fellowships are most appropriate for Ph.D. students who have completed their qualifying exams and embarked on dissertation research and writing. Postdoctoral fellowships are most appropriate for recent Ph.D candidates pursuing research that would benefit from systematic exposure to STS theories and methods.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants currently pursuing a Ph.D and those who have obtained their doctoral degree are eligible.
  • Predoctoral fellowships are for Ph.D. students in STS or relevant fields who have completed their qualifying exams and begun their dissertation research and writing.
  • Postdoctoral fellowships are for recent Ph.D recipients conducting research related to STS theories and methods.

  • Eligible candidates must submit an online application along with the following documents:
    • Nomination letter.
    • Statement of Research Interest.
    • Most recent CV.

Value of the Fellowship:

  • The STS Program does not normally provide stipends for Fellows except through funded research projects within the Program.
