Applicants must:

Be the highest-ranked recipient of a UC Core Doctoral Scholarship at the University of Canterbury.
Be enrolled in a research doctoral degree.
Be automatically considered; no separate application is required.

Selection criteria for the Brownlie Scholarship:

Applicants with the highest ranking among all those who received a centrally financed UC Core Doctoral Scholarship in the award year are eligible to receive the scholarship.

Value of Brownlie Scholarship:

$5,000 per 120 points of enrolment (per annum), tenable up to 360 points of enrolment

Application process:

No application is required. Top-ranked candidates who have been selected for a UC Core Doctoral Scholarship are automatically considered for the Brownlie Scholarship.
