Aecsdul Essay Writing Scholarship (FD) at Laval University 2024

Objective:

The purpose of this grant is to recognize and support an Association member who is enrolled in the master's program with an essay component and who has started writing their essay.

Eligibility Criteria:

• When the scholarship is awarded (fall 2023), the student must be enrolled full-time or have Financial Aid for Studies verify their status. If they are enrolled part-time, they may be eligible for this competition if they are recognized as student parents under Université Laval's policy regarding student parents. To do this, the student must provide us with the certificate that was issued by the Office of the Registrar by sending it to grants@fd.ulaval.ca before October 1st.
• The student had to have earned a minimum of 24 master's credits at the Faculty of Law, including essays
• Without having received any additional funding for their graduate studies. $1,000 awards or less, financial instability awards, and pathway scholarships (help for achievement) are not considered scholarships. Those who have previously received significant funding—most notably, entrance excellence scholarships—are not eligible for this program.
