The University of Northampton International Scholarship 2026:

The University of Northampton International Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship designed to support high-achieving international students. The scholarship provides a reduction in tuition fees for each year of study, excluding placement years, and is awarded based on the applicant's academic achievement.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Northampton International Scholarship 2026:

• Applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at the University of Northampton.
• Applicant must be applying for an eligible programme, including BA, BSc, BEng, MEng, LLB, MA, MSc, LLM, or MBA.
• Applicant must be assessed as an Overseas fee-paying student.
• Applicant must be commencing an eligible programme at the University of Northampton.
• Applicant must meet the University's academic eligibility and merit requirements for the scholarship.
• Applicant must not be a UK or EU national eligible for a maintenance loan from Student Finance England.
• Applicant must not be studying a course validated by the University at a partner institution.

Application Process for the University of Northampton International Scholarship 2026:

• Applicant must apply for an eligible programme at the University of Northampton.
• Applicant does not need to submit a separate scholarship application.
• Applicant will be automatically considered for the scholarship alongside their application to study at the University.
• Applicant's scholarship eligibility will be assessed based on the merit of their application and academic eligibility.
• Applicant will be informed of the scholarship outcome in their offer letter.
• Applicant must meet any applicable conditions of the scholarship to retain the award in subsequent years.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The scholarship provides an annual tuition fee reduction of £2,000, £3,000, or up to £4,000.
• The award is applied each academic year of the programme, subject to the student successfully progressing to the next year.
• Placement years are excluded from the scholarship.
• A scholarship of £4,000 per year on a three-year undergraduate programme could therefore provide a total potential value of £12,000 over the course of study, subject to progression requirements.
• For Nursing programmes, the maximum scholarship is £2,000 per academic year.

Notes:

• The scholarship is not limited to a fixed number of awards; eligible students are awarded automatically.
• The scholarship is a tuition fee reduction, not a cash payment.
• Students must pay £7,000 of their first-year tuition fee before a CAS is issued, after which the remaining amount, less applicable scholarships and discounts, is payable according to the University's payment arrangements.
• The scholarship is available for full-time, on-campus undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.
• Students studying at a partner institution are not eligible.
