Overview

The NL–Zuyd Excellence Scholarship (NL-ZES) is a combined scholarship that provides a higher award in the first year than the Zuyd Excellence Scholarship. In the first year, it includes a €5,000 NL Scholarship (formerly known as the Holland Scholarship) and the Zuyd Excellence Scholarship, which offers up to a €3,600 net discount on your tuition fees for the full duration of your study.

Eligibility Criteria for Zuyd Excellence Scholarship (ZES) 2025:

  • Applicants must be non-EU/EEA/Switzerland/Suriname nationals.
  • Applicants must enroll in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
  • Applicants must surpass the admission requirements set by the university.
  • Applicants must live in the Netherlands during the study period.
  • Applicants are to pay the highest institutional tuition fees.

Application Process: 

Applicants must complete the form and send all the required documents to internationaloffice@zuyd.nl. The application should include the following components:

  • Completed and signed NL-ZES application form
  • Letter of motivation (max. 1 page)
  • Letter of reference
  • Curriculum Vitae

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a tuition fee discount of EUR 5,000.
