Eligibility for University of Roehampton SeNSS (ESRC) Studentships:

Applicants must:

Meet the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) eligibility criteria
Apply for a Master’s, PhD, or Master’s + PhD programme in an eligible social science discipline
Propose a research project that clearly aligns with one or more SENSS core research themes
Be able to be supervised by an eligible supervisor at the University of Roehampton

Value of the University of Roehampton SeNSS (ESRC) Studentships:

Receive a tax-free maintenance stipend of £20,780 per year (2025/26 rate)
Additional £2,000 per year London Weighting for students studying at London-based universities
100% tuition fees covered for both home and international students
Funding lasts 3.5 to 4.5 years, depending on your study route
