Veza Family Entry-Level Scholarship in Music

The Veza Family Entry-Level Scholarship in Music was established in 2020 and is funded by the Veza family. It helps to support students commencing undergraduate study in Music.

Eligibility Criteria for the Veza Family Entry-Level Scholarship in Music:

• The scholarship is open to both domestic and international students.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in Year 13 at a New Zealand secondary school or kura.
• Applicants must intend to enroll full-time in a Bachelor of Music (BMus) or BMus conjoint degree at the University of Auckland in the following year.

Selection Criteria for the Veza Family Entry-Level Scholarship in Music:

• Academic ability, based on Level 2 or higher NCEA results or an equivalent qualification.
• The applicant’s potential to succeed in Music.
• Demonstrated financial need, as assessed through a personal statement.

Value of the Veza Family Entry-Level Scholarship in Music:

Two scholarships will be granted each year, with a duration of up to one year and each valued at up to $5,000.
