The Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame is offering visiting fellowships to promote interdisciplinary international research in a community of scholars. The fellowships are offered to conduct research in democracy and/or human development.

Eligibility for Kellogg Institute for International Studies - Visiting Fellowships in US, 2020-21:

  • The applicants for the Kellogg Institute for International Studies - Visiting Fellowships in US, 2020-21 should be promising junior or mid-career scholars ( postdocs and assistant or associate professors).
  • The candidates should be senior scholars with scholarly excellence record.
  • The applicants should be journalists, policy makers, or other practitioners.
  • The candidates should have a Ph.D. in history or social science.
  • The institute might support applicants with Ph.D. in other disciplines in exceptional cases.
  • The candidates who are eminent scholars or practitioners can apply even if they do not hold a Ph.D.
  • The non-US residents/citizens should have advanced English proficiency and should be eligible to obtain a J-1 Visa.

Documents required:

The University of Notre Dame du Lac (or simply Notre Dame /ˌnoʊtərˈdeɪm/ NOH-tər-DAYM) is a Catholic research university located adjacent to South Bend, Indiana, in the United States. In French, Notre Dame du Lac means "Our Lady of the Lake" and refers to the university's patron saint, the Virgin Mary. The main campus covers 1,250 acres (5,100,000 m2) in a suburban setting and it contains a number of recognizable landmarks, such as the Golden Dome, the "Word of Life" mural (commonly known as Touchdown Jesus), and the Basilica. The school was founded on November 26, 1842 by Father Edward Sorin, CSC, who was also its first president, as an all-male institution on land donated by the Bishop of Vincennes (Indiana). Today, many Holy Cross priests continue to work for the university, including the president of the university.
