Introduction:
This Scholarship is funded jointly through the Northern Rivers Community Foundation and Southern Cross University and has been awarded to one or two recipients every year since 2009.
Eligibility requirement Twin Towns Services Club Scholarship Twin Towns Services Club Scholarship at Southern Cross University 2026 :
- Must Be an Australian citizens, permanent residents or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa;
- Commencing an undergraduate degree at Southern Cross University, Gold Coast campus, and be enrolled full-time (minimum 72 credit points annually);
- Reside within the boundaries of the Tweed Shire and Gold Coast City Council local government areas. Preference will be given to students who live within the area from and including Burleigh Heads south to the Tweed Shire southern border.
Value of the scholarship:
A AUD 5,000 Per Scholarship for One Year award is available to support a full-time student
Application Process:
- Applicants must complete the general scholarship application and submit a 100–200 word introductory statement outlining their motivation for applying and future goals.
- Applications are assessed based on eligibility, demonstrated hardship, and commitment to the Northern Rivers region.
- Selected applicants are awarded a scholarship based on committee review of responses and supporting information.
NOTE:
- Preference for awarding one scholarship will be given to a student enrolling in the Bachelor of Nursing degree.
- Preference will be given to awarding one scholarship to a male student and one to a female student.
