Alex MacAulay Memorial Award at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

A dedicated Child and Youth Care Worker student committed to supporting the well-being and development of children and youth. Compassion, empathy, and respect are demonstrated through positive relationships and a genuine desire to help others. Strong interpersonal skills and a caring approach contribute to creating supportive environments that encourage growth, resilience, and positive outcomes for those in need.

Eligibility requirement for Alex MacAulay Memorial Award at Holland College 2026:

• Must be enrolled in the second year of the Child and Youth Care Worker program at Holland College
• Must be identified by their Learning Manager as demonstrating a high level of care and compassion
• Must exemplify qualities of empathy, kindness, and support for others

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 2,000 is awarded is available to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Complete the award application form
• Be enrolled in the second year of the Child and Youth Care Worker program
• Meet the care and compassion criteria as assessed by the Learning Manager
• Submit all required application materials by the deadline (January 11, 2026)
