The TPT Group Business Scholarship is offered annually to a high-achieving Bachelor of Business student at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) who is majoring in Marketing. The scholarship is supported by TPT Group, a business group focused on investment, innovation, and developing businesses and people.
Eligibility Criteria for the TPT Group Business Scholarship at Auckland University of Technology 2026:
- Applicant must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time in the second year of the Bachelor of Business at AUT.
- Applicant must be majoring in Marketing.
- Applicant must have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement in their tertiary studies.
- Applicant must be intending to enter the third year of the Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing.
Application Process for the TPT Group Business Scholarship at Auckland University of Technology 2026:
- Complete the online scholarship application through the AUT Scholarships application portal.
- Submit a 250-word statement addressing:
- Achievements from the previous 12 months and what was learned from them.
- The value the applicant could contribute to TPT Group Holdings' marketing team.
- Learning and development goals in a marketing role.
- Shortlisted applicants must attend an interview and deliver a five-minute “Sell Yourself” presentation to the selection panel, supported by a visual presentation such as a PowerPoint, portfolio, or video.
- Shortlisted applicants must also submit a LinkedIn post on a topic provided by TPT Group's Marketing Lead.
Selection Criteria:
- AUT academics will shortlist three candidates based on their initial scholarship applications.
- The final recipient will be selected by a panel comprising the Head of the Marketing Department or designate and TPT Group representatives.
- The selection panel's decision is final.
- The scholarship may not be awarded if the panel considers that no applicant has sufficient merit.
- The award is conditional on the recipient gaining entry to and enrolling full-time in the third year of the Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing.
Value of the Scholarship:
- Up to NZD 5,000 toward Bachelor of Business tuition fees.
- One scholarship is offered annually on a contestable basis.
- The recipient will also be employed by TPT Group on a part-time basis for one year, including holiday work as mutually agreed, under a separate employment contract.
- Employment will normally involve four hours per week at TPT Group's East Tamaki office, or another arrangement mutually agreed with TPT Group.
Notes:
- The scholarship is tenable for one year of full-time study in the Bachelor of Business programme.
- The employment arrangement is separate from the scholarship and is subject to a separate employment contract.
- Failure to meet the scholarship conditions may result in termination of the award and repayment of scholarship amounts already paid.
