Theresa Mary McCourt Memorial Endowed English Scholarship

This Scholarship was created in honor of Ms.Theresa Mary McCourt an accomplished writer, teacher, businesswoman, athlete, gardener, wife, mother, and friend. She graduated with her Master’s in English from Sacramento State in 1989.

Eligibility criteria for Theresa Mary McCourt Memorial Endowed English Scholarship -

• The applicants must secure minimum GPA: 2.0 overall GPA (Good Academic Standing).
• They must pursue majors in English (preferred interest in poetry and creative writing).
• The class Level: Graduate: Classified Graduates.
• They must be enrolled. no minimum requirement at time of award and at time of application.

Note: The student must submit a short statement (1-2 paragraphs) on “What does writing mean to you?”
