The Marion Walton Scholarship in Psychological Science at Victoria University of Wellington

  2. The focus of study should be in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience, Forensic Psychology, or Clinical Psychology.

Selection Criteria: Selection will be made based on academic merit and financial hardship.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Award: NZD 12,000.

Note: 

  1. Payment of the scholarship depends on the programme: for a Master of Science by thesis, it is split into two instalments across the year; for a Master of Science by coursework and thesis, it is paid in four equal instalments over two years at the start of each trimester.
  2. Recipients must write a thank-you letter to the donor within one month of receiving the scholarship and provide an end-of-year progress report to be shared with the donor.
