Description:

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships are offered to experienced professionals to strengthen their leadership skills through the exchange of information and understanding about common issues of concern in the U.S. and Fellows' home countries.

Eligibility for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships:

  • Applicants must be Indian nationals.
  • Applicants must have completed a U.S. bachelor's degree equivalent
  • Applicants must hold a four-year bachelor's degree, a completed master's degree; or a full-time postgraduate diploma, if the bachelor's degree is of less than four years' duration.
  • Applicants must have at least five years of professional experience in the respective field, and be eligible for leave.
  • Applicants must have demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Applicants must have a record of public service in the community.
  • Applicants must give an undertaking to return to India on completion of the fellowship.
