The Student Opportunity Funding provides financial support to eligible home undergraduate students experiencing unforeseen financial difficulties.
Eligibility criteria of Student Opportunity Funding:
- The applicant must have received the maximum available support from the Student Loans Company.
- The applicant must be paying tuition fees of £9,790.
- The applicant must have a household income of £25,000 or less, or a household income of £35,000 or less and meet at least one of these criteria: care leaver, irreconcilably estranged, mature student, disabled, BAME background, carer, parent in the Armed Forces, or living in a low university participation area.
