Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicants may come from any nationality.
  • The applicant must submit a project that caters to the protection of the environment. The project should fulfill the following conditions:
    • be an established project with a proven track record of success
    • be related to sustainable development or biodiversity
    • be aligned with the UN Goals for Sustainable Development
    • be replicable from one geographic area to another and ideally be scalable in size
    • have a clearly defined need for funding
    • have the ability to inspire others in the field
    • contribute to the global pursuit of sustainability in the short to long-term
    • meet high ethical standards concerning intellectual property and how it interacts with people and the environment
    • be inclusive
  • The applicant must submit the project in English.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates must submit the project to be reviewed by the screening committee.
  • All shortlisted candidates are contacted and invited to submit a short video summarising their project.
  • They must provide references from two individuals who may be contacted as part of the due diligence process.

Value of the Award:

The successful candidates can be awarded up to USD 100,000.
