OC Family Award at Okanagan College 2026:

The OC Family Award supports eligible students who are immediate family members of a continuing (regular) Okanagan College employee and are enrolled in an eligible programme at Okanagan College.

Eligibility Criteria for the OC Family Award at Okanagan College 2026:

  • Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Applicant must be an immediate family member of a continuing (regular) Okanagan College employee. Eligible relationships include spouse, common-law partner, child, stepchild, legal ward, grandchild, niece, nephew, or sibling.
  • Applicant must be enrolled full-time, with a minimum of 9 credits (60% course load) or 6 credits (40% course load for students with permanent disabilities).
  • Applicant must be enrolled in an eligible programme at Okanagan College, including University Studies, degree or diploma programmes, vocational, trades or health certificate programmes, full-time Continuing Studies Certificate programmes, or apprenticeship programmes.
  • Applicant must be in good standing.
  • Applicant must not be on academic probation.
  • Applicant must have no outstanding fees.

Application Process:

  • Submit an online application through myOkanagan.
  • Apply under Student Tab → Financial Aid & Awards → Apply for Awards → Family Award.
  • The application is available for All Campus Entrance or Returning applicants.
  • Paper applications are no longer accepted.
  • Recipients are selected by Financial Awards.

Value of the Award:

  • The award amount varies depending on available funds, the number of eligible applicants, and the applicant's programme of study.
  • The award may cover up to 25% of the recipient's tuition, to a maximum of CAD 1,500 per academic year.

  • For programmes starting January 1–March 31: February 28
  • For programmes starting April 1–July 31: June 30
  • For programmes starting August 1–December 31: October 31
