Simon Maddison Undergraduate Scholarship at Imperial College London
The Simon Maddison Scholarship at Imperial College London is a new undergraduate scholarship available for UK students starting in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the 2026-27 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria of Simon Maddison Undergraduate Scholarship:
- Applicants must have an offer of admission to an undergraduate course in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and possess Home fee status.
- Applicants must have been assessed for financial support through Student Finance England (SFE) or an equivalent authority, with a verified household income of less than GBP 40,000 per annum.
Selection Criteria:
- The Department will assess applicants based on predicted A-Level results and the UCAS application form.
- Applicants will be ranked by the Department, and the final selection from the shortlist will be made by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
Application Process:
- Applicants must submit a Student Finance application and be means-tested by Student Finance England (SFE) or an equivalent authority, with a verified household income below GBP 40,000 per annum confirmed by Friday, 29 May 2026 (UK local time). They must also consent to share household income information with the College for eligibility verification.
- Applicants must submit a UCAS application for a course in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and hold an offer of admission by Friday, 29 May 2026 (UK local time).
Award: The successful scholar will receive a cash bursary of GBP 15,008 per academic year. They may choose to receive the full amount as a maintenance grant or allocate part of it towards tuition fees, with any remaining funds paid as a maintenance grant.
