School of Art Honours Travelling Grant

The School of Art Honours Travelling Grant supports art honours students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and undertake travel related to their art or studio practice.

Eligibility criteria for the School of Art Honours Travelling Grant:

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in Semester 1 and Semester 2 of 2026 in either Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) (Honours) (BH052) or Bachelor of Arts (Photography) (Honours) (BH125).
  • Applicants must have achieved High Distinction or Distinction grades during Semester 1, 2026.
  • Applicants must be undertaking travel related to their art or studio practice.
  • Applicants must submit their own original artworks with the application.

Application process for the School of Art Honours Travelling Grant:

  • Applicants must complete the online scholarship application before the closing date.
  • Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae of no more than two pages.
  • Applicants must provide a selection of five examples of original artistic work in either five images of visual works in JPEG format, five original artistic sound works uploaded to SoundCloud, or five original artistic video/animation works uploaded to Vimeo or YouTube.
  • Answer the application questions about their planned mobility activity, including location and duration, how the activity will benefit them academically and professionally, or the artistic merit demonstrated in their work.
  • Applicants must include all required supporting documentation. Incomplete applications will not be assessed.
