The graduate studies support grant provides financial aid to students enrolled in master's and doctoral programs in the School of Social Work and Criminology to support their research endeavors and elevate the caliber of their accomplishments by awarding an excellence bonus.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be registered full-time in a social work program – master's or doctorate – at the School of Social Work and Criminology of Laval University;
  • The draft dissertation, essay, or thesis must relate to the field of social group work.
  • Open to all nationals.

Value: 2 scholarships of CAD 2,500

Selection Criteria:

  • The certified degree of advancement (transcript, confirmation from management)
  • The quality of the academic file
  • The quality of the study project related to the field of group social work or other modalities of group work in community organizations.
