Eligibility Criteria for the Das Klagenfurt Stipendium at the University of Klagenfurt 2026:

  • Applicant must be a prospective or already admitted student of a Master’s degree programme at the University of Klagenfurt.
  • Applicant must fulfill the admission requirements for the chosen Master’s degree programme.
  • Applicant who is a prospective student must be about to begin the Master’s programme.
  • Applicant who is already enrolled in the Master’s programme must have completed no more than 20 ECTS credits in that programme.
  • Applicant must have submitted their Master’s admission application between the beginning of the summer-semester admission period and the end of the winter-semester admission period in the relevant application year.
  • Applicant must have no more than three years between completing their Bachelor’s degree and admission to the Master’s programme.
  • Applicant must be under 30 years of age when starting the Master’s programme.
  • Applicant must be an EU or EEA citizen or a foreign national with equal status under the applicable Austrian regulations.
  • Applicant must demonstrate strong academic performance and excellent progress in their studies.
  • Applicant may receive additional consideration for social or civic engagement.
  • Applicant may receive additional consideration for challenging personal or family circumstances.
  • Applicant may provide evidence of other non-university involvement, such as awards, certificates, or testimonials.
