Presidential Scholarship for Undergraduate Students of Black Heritage at Imperial College London

The Presidential Scholarship for Students of Black Heritage at Imperial College London is a financial and mentoring support program designed to increase the representation of Black students in higher education and research. One scholarship is awarded in each of the four faculties: Engineering, Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Business. 

Eligibility Criteria of Presidential Scholarship for Undergraduate Students of Black Heritage:

1. Applicants must hold Home fee status and qualify for the College’s contextual admissions schemes.
2. Applicants must belong to one of the following ethnic heritages: Black African, Black Caribbean, Black Other, Mixed White and Black African, or Mixed White and Black Caribbean.

Application Process: 

1. Applicants must apply for a 2026 entry undergraduate course by 15 October 2025 for MBBS Medicine or by 14 January 2026 for any other course.
2. Applicants must receive an offer of admission by 1 April 2026 (UK local time).
3. Applicants must complete the Presidential Scholarships application form by 23:59 (UK local time) on 1 April 2026.

Award: Home tuition fees and Mentoring Support - Activate programme.

Note: This award is for students starting in the academic year 2026-27 and cannot be deferred.
