Presidential Scholarship for Undergraduate Students of Black Heritage at Imperial College London

The Presidential Scholarship for Students of Black Heritage at Imperial College London is a financial and mentoring support program designed to increase the representation of Black students in higher education and research. One scholarship is awarded in each of the four faculties: Engineering, Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Business. 

Eligibility Criteria of Presidential Scholarship for Undergraduate Students of Black Heritage:

  1. Applicants must hold Home fee status and qualify for the College’s contextual admissions schemes.
  2. Applicants must belong to one of the following ethnic heritages: Black African, Black Caribbean, Black Other, Mixed White and Black African, or Mixed White and Black Caribbean.

Application Process: 

  1. Applicants must apply for a 2026 entry undergraduate course for MBBS Medicine or by 14 January 2026 for any other course.
  2. Applicants must receive an offer of admission.
  3. Applicants must complete the Presidential Scholarships application form.

Award: Home tuition fees and Mentoring Support - Activate programme.

Note: This award is for students starting in the academic year 2026-27 and cannot be deferred.
