Overview

The Postgraduate Research Travel Award 2024 is offered to current, registered doctoral students for travel to conferences where the student will either present papers or speak at a poster exhibit. 

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Research Travel Award at University of Strathclyde 2024:

  • Applicants must be full-time or part-time registered doctoral students at the University of Strathclyde at the time of their intended travel. 
  • Applicants must have been accepted to present their research at the University of Strathclyde at a conference in the form of a paper or a poster.

Applicants are not eligible for the PGR Travel Award if they:

    • If the students have travel funds available to them as part of their studentship.
    • If the students are UKRI-funded and therefore have access to a Research Training Support Grant (RTSG).
    • If the students are on voluntary suspension or maternity/paternity leave.
    • If the students have submitted their thesis.
    • If the student is a current master's student.

Applicants must submit their applications to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
