The University of Oslo is offering postdoctoral research fellowship in Semiconductor Physics at the Center for Material Sciences and Nanotechnology.
Eligibility
- The candidates applying for Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Semiconductor Physics, 2017 should have a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree to Norwegian doctoral degree in physics.
- The applicants should have a good scientific background in semiconductor physics.
- The candidates should have experience in electrical (e.g. temperature dependent Hall effect measurements and junction spectroscopic techniques) and/or optical characterization (photoluminescence or cathodoluminescence) of semiconducting oxides (similar experience with GaN may also be of interest).
- The applicants with experience in first principle calculations and Ph.D. and MSc students' supervision experience are considered beneficial.
- The candidates who don;t have a Ph.D. degree should complete the final exam by January 31st, 2017.
