Paul Flaherty Bursaries 

Introduction: 

The Paul Flaherty Bursaries support Yukon residents enrolled in University Access Pathways studies at Yukon University who demonstrate financial need and plan to continue into post-secondary education.

Eligibility criteria of Paul Flaherty Bursaries: 

• Applicants must currently reside in the Yukon.
• Applicants must be enrolled part-time or full-time in the University Access Pathways program or in Yukon University 020–060 level courses.
• Applicants must indicate the program they plan to pursue after completing University Access Pathways.
• Applicants must be self-funded and unable to secure funding from other sources.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Application process for Paul Flaherty Bursaries: 

• Applicants must complete the Student Financial Award Application Form.
• Students may apply directly, or faculty from the School of Academic Skills and Development may submit a nomination in collaboration with the student.
• Applicants or nominations must be submitted by January 31, 2027.

Award: 2 x CAD 500 is awarded to full-time students.
