OeAW International Incoming Fellowship 2023

Brief Description:

The Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) has been offering an incoming fellowship since 2016. Highly qualified scientists who meet the criteria for submission for Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Fellowships or an ERC Starting or Consolidator Grant and who intend to submit a proposal to the OeAW will thus be able to get to know their future host institution and the OeAW’s services when preparing applications for them use grant programs.

Eligibility for the OeAW International Incoming Fellowship:

Applications are invited from yoke-qualified scientists from all disciplines who meet the requirements for applying for a  Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, an ERC Starting Grant or an ERC Consolidator Grant and intend to take advantage of one of these funding opportunities and to locate the research project at the OeAW.

• Letter of recommendation for the applicant
• Letter of invitation from the director of the OeAW institute.
• Letter of motivation from the applicant.

Benefits:

The HORIZON Incoming Fellowship subsidizes accommodation costs of up to a maximum of EUR 8,100/fellow (maximum EUR 2,700/month for a maximum of three months) as well as the one-time reimbursement of travel expenses (outward and return journey).
